Falling fuel prices!

Still around $2.15-$2.20 here in Charleston, a new BP opened and is selling it for $2.03, probably just a promotional deal, won't last long. Don't think it will ever be cheap again unless they do away with the fuel sur-charge for transportation??

Don't beat me, but #2 can be had in the Corpus Christi Texas area for 1.86/gal. (hooray!)
Those lower #2 prices have now matched mid-grade unleaded prices in this area.
What I don't understand is there is an 11 to 12 cent spread on #2 prices in this area...
Maybe some stores have gotten tired of lowering it just to raise it back up again, leaving it up.

I don't understand why the spread between Gas & Diesel is so different across the country?
Checked this morning and local Walmart and Our Indian Truck Stop have both raised gas to within 2 cents of diesel, which has not changed for 3 weeks. These prices are after $.03 discount with a pre-paid card.
Gas = $1.81
Diesel = $1.83
Our gas was almost $.20 less than diesel for 2 months. For some of you it still is???????

Paid 2.07 monday, Diesel has gone up some but gas is shooting up all over. Just glad Flying J bought the Shell refinery in Bakersfield or we would be paying thru the nose in Kalifornia. Shell was going to shut it down but the clean up would have cost them more than selling it to Flying J at a loss. Hopefully we'll see more Flying J stations now!
