Engine wash??

Re:Engine wash??
I do mine each time I wash the truck (about 2x per week).

It is easy to pop the hood and do the car wash "presoak" cycle and then lower the hood and do the truck...then go to the "rinse" cycle and first do the engine at low pressure then lower the hood and close it and do the rest of the truck.

What I do is go there with a cold engine (about 1/4 mile drive from home). I do not "flood" the engine and try to clean it...just simply rinse it thoroughly.

Takes me about 3 hours to do though.
[/quote]

Sounds about right!

Does that include a full interior detail though? :P ;D

Re:Engine wash??
I do mine whenever it needs it. I plow snow so I do it after every snowfall when I rinse off the plow and in the warmer months as needed (about 2 months).

I just hit it with the wand down the car wash. no soap, just rinse water and I have never had a problem.
