Dumb question
Yall will prolly think I am an idiot for asking this but anyways. I asked about getting more speed with my 4:10's and I had a guy tell me to get a 4k GSK and heavy duty valve springs. What is GSK i have seen it before on here but never knew what it meant or what it is for. I have heard people say they have 3k and 4k GSK, what do these numbers mean, what is the difference between the 3k and 4k. And what would this GSK and valve springs do for me? If they are beneficial to me is it an easy install and is it very expensive? I am still learning and any help is greatly appreciated.

Im no 12v expert but I believe gsk=governor spring kit The higher the number the higher the rpms you can turn and the more rpms you can turn the faster you can go. The stiffer valve springs will help when turning higher rpms to keep from having valve float.

As stated above, gsk is governor spring kit. If you run a 3k one, you will be able to fuel to 3100rpms or so. Stock, you should fuel to 2700rpms or so. Most people do not change their valve springs for a 3k but they do for a 4k.
