I heard a 6.0 the other day for the first time. Talk about whistle. It still had the muffler on it and all it did was whistle. It didn't flutter at all like the 7.3. It sounded kind of weird but the boy has the auto and says he loves it.

Ballbearing:

Good evaluation on the new 6.0 Ford PSD!

I had a chance to drive one about two weeks ago with
new Ford "Torq-Shift" 5-speed automatic and agree with
you that they do perform well. The salesman that rode
with me told me to "go ahead and get on it" so I did!
From a start, I floored it and the truck spun the tires
for about 5-6 feet then hit second gear. The tach
showed 3600 RPM between each gear change (1-4)
and it seemed to pull pretty hard! It definitely seems
faster than the older 7.3 Ford PSD's. The truck I
drove was an F-250 Crew Cab that was loaded.
The sticker had $47,854.00 on it!! OUCH!!

--------
John_P
