I really like driving in snow only...specially when there is a nice fresh coat of powder on the road and you can clear your own path. Ice is alright to drive on, but I prefer not too.

We got a bunch of snow last night so I might have to go out bombing around,LOL.

It would be nice except for the illegal immigrants from south of the border around here aren't familiar with it and drive 25 mph with chains on all winter even when the pavement is bare.

Do I like/enjoy it? Not particularly. I don't mind it though. Just drive slower and you'll get there.

I don't like the other drivers much, though. A couple years ago I was driving across southern WY in heavy snow. Visibility was down to about 30-40' sometimes. I was poking along around 45mph without any troubles. Except every time one of those 18 wheelers would blast past me at 60, I couldn't see the end of my hood. With visibility that poor, I was just waiting for some dum bass to nail me.

That actually might be an improvement over some of the people you see on the freeways here. I wish they would drive slower because at least then they are not passing you and almost spinning out when they do it. There is an incredible correlation to watching the suv's without snow tires pass you, then you get to pass them 10 minutes later when they are in the ditch. I don't know who told them that suv's and trucks can go faster in the snow because it simply isn't true, they don't handle as well as something like a suby.

I guess both scenarios are pretty bad.

I hated it before I put the liftgate on, there just wasn't any traction. Now I have 597lbs hanging out where the bumper used to be and everything's all right. I went up to Crestline a little while back (chains with me but not installed) and the liftgate's weight made a world of difference.

I love all of it: snow, ice, sleet, whatever its a blast. When it ices or snows in Texas its like a holiday. We just got some last night, and I've been out on it nonstop. Now its all melted. I hate the way the city people are when it snows. All they do is complain. We country folk have a good time though. It makes me mad when the salt or sand trucks ruin it though. And ya, the reason everyone complains down here is cause nobody can drive in it. I love goin out at night in either my truck or my rhino and playin in it while everyone else is sittin at home

Grew up driving in all conditions and its how I get to sites for my job. Be prepared and know how to drive in it and you'll be fine. The guys with the jacked up rig-rockets on huge rubber are the first ones I see in the ditch. Too much tire, not enough weight and too much power.

The right foot is your steering wheel in the loose stuff, even in 4WD. You just have to careful of the hard packed stuff, it tends to tear off running boards, mud flaps or anything else not hard fastened.

I love driving in the snow, snowmobiling, playing in it with the nieces and nephews. Temperature and weather conditions don't effect my day to day life for the negative a single bit.

Same here.....'nuff said.

I drive Wifey's Landcruiser when the forecast calls for snow or ice.

I try to choose the right tool for the job at hand.

Being in a college town is even worse for people who don't know what to do when it snows. Apparently having a brain is not required for college, I lost count after 30, but saw several girls not dressed for the bad weather. People don't like it when you hear them complain about being cold and you tell them "go back to your dorm a put some ******* cloths on if your cold" I am so lucky my coat doesn't have my name tag or department on it lol.

I love drivin in the snow and slick stuff, my 4wd dually does pretty good. Plus the front end is heavy enough it doesn't get tossed around busting snow drifts.

Another 2wd dually owner. It actually drives fine as long as you don't stop on an uphill slope. Then you are in trouble...

I do like driving in the snow in a vehicle that can handle it. The ol' Benz wagon does well, and I've had a couple Cherokees that were lots of fun.

All fun here until i have to drive with others in little cars that are not made too be driven in winter. I guess some people never learn . Amish buggies make it very interesting when theres ice or 6 inches of snow and slush. PA winters make for fun driving though unless the people around you act like idiots...right foot steering in effect

I love the right foot steering and the challenge that presents itself when we get the nice 12+ inch blasts of snow. Its all of the other idiots on the road that make me grip the steering wheel a little bit tighter
