Mine is registered for 20,000 pounds so couldn't get a personal plate.

My personal opinion on personalized plates is that they're a waste of money. The State already gets enough of my $$$ as it is.... I'm not going to voluntarily give them more for the sake of vanity. Besides, since I'm plated for 18K, I only run a front plate and nobody gets to see that...... very often.

I run this for a rear plate.....it's not a direct reference to diesel, but it's pretty much implied:

No you can have personalized, just not the fancy plate. Plain old blue and white on mine but it says DSLRAM (check my gallery). I choose to believe the other meaning for DSL has to do with computers, NOT the other one.

Therres a 1-ton dually in town that says "TON A FUN" on the plates.

Really? I tried to get a the wildlife turkey plate with a message, that would explain it. The never mentioned that I could get a personalized plate on the regular blue and white...
