DieselTruckResource TOM poll APRIL 2006
March Madness is upon us.
To some, it means College Basketball.
To others, Spring flowers blooming and birds chirping.
To us, starting on that truck maintenance that has been put off since last fall, rinsing the road grunge off the paint, out of the wheel wells, and under the chassis, a chance to roll the window down and hear that mighty Cummins roar without freezing certain extremities off in the process.
This month the members of the DieselTruckResource.com Truck Of the Month Committee bring you three 3rd generation 3500 DRW trucks to choose from.
Call ‘em Duallys, call ‘em Wide Loaders, call ‘em Trucks with Training Wheels.
Just pick one and we’ll call it out winner for TOM for April 2006.
The winner will receive one of the beautiful TOM Winner’s plaques provided by our Truck Of the Month sponsor Keith Livingstone of Forest City Diesel.
We try to make it hard on you folks to pick one winner the same way you make it hard on us.
There’s a bunch of very nice rigs in the Member’s Photo Galleries.
It’s tough to choose from all those nice rides and only select three each month.
But each month, we discover there are a lot of members with sigs that describe nice trucks that don’t have a single photo of their trucks in their galleries.
Some have pics of pretty near everything BUT their trucks.
You can’t be selected as a TOM candidate if the only thing in your gallery are pictures of your bike, Hot Rod, dog, house or whatever.
Clean up the rig, and post some pictures, you could be our next Truck of the Month winner.

Alright!!
Third Gen duallies, this one for me was not so easy to decipher either, Txpower has a white dodge, i love it, the maroon one has alcoas, i also love it, but scottys truck.. well thats just plain menacing, and for as long as he has been around these boards advising people and making products that actually work.. Well, that got my vote....
Scotty u r the man!!

Wow...This sure is a nice surprise. Great group of trucks too.
Just getting nominated is awesome.
A few things about the truck since my sig says nothing.
04 3500 4x4 Laramie sport quad cab 6 spd.
I use the truck for towing heavy.
It has a 4" inline Pacbrake [gotta get it working again], Southbend FE clutch, Brakesmart controller, Firestone Ride Rite air bags, TOYO HT tires, Advanced Air Hitch, Quad Race box, Bullydog Dloader, Fuel pressure gauge, boost and pyro in the Brakesmart, overkill on the stereo, Cobra 29 modified CB, Lightforce 240 lights with 3 sets of lens', PIAA driving and fog lamps, Sylvania Silverstar bulbs, 4" stainless exhaust, Scotty 3, Linex spray in bedliner, Mopar soft tonneau cover, 66 gallon aux tank, custom fuel system, tube steps, and I know there is lots more.
Mud flaps, Cloud Rider winter inserts, 3M clear vinyl rock guard, Donaldson 51" muffler and thats all I can think of right now.
Glad to be a part of this.
Scotty

ive only pics i have are in there. i havent finished the bed yet so its not on thanks though.im just happy to be nominated to the top three. this is my first truck that ive paid for by my self. In the past my dad would help me out because of highschool and as long as it was a ford. But i got what i wanted for once and told him i didnt need any help, and that im getting a dodge. He wasnt very happy because of a problem from DC with getting an srt 10 for my brother. Im very proud of my ctd.

All of these trucks are awesome and it is an honor, in my opinion, for any of them to be nominated. But, there can only be one vote per member. So mine has to go to Scotty this time. I am partial to black and I love the black wheels too. Very nice rig Scotty!!! Good luck. Congrats to the rest for being nominated!
