General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

Really?? For some reason, I think the simulators just MAKE the truck(in lieu of Alcoa's or something costly). But that's cool, 'preciate it!

To me, Sims just say "Not Real Wheels!" out loud. It's kinda like cheap bling. But that's just me. Lots of people like them, and that's fine. If you want to dress the wheels up a little, powder coat them in black (or white) and put some trim rings on them, and maybe chrome lugs or something. Mine came with the rings, and I'm either going to color them black or match the dark blue of the truck.

That's just my take on them, your mileage may vary, yada, yada, yada!

I hear ya Blue, I'm really sort of conflicted 'tween the 'cheap bling' you mentioned(good description!) and the 'plain jane' look to the stockers. I do now have the chrome lug nut covers(hard to find those 1 1/8in w/flared bases but helps some...) and found out I had one true chrome plated wheel and one nicer silver argent painted wheel hiding behind the rear duals, so they are out front now. Eventually I hope to either find a nice set of aluminums, or at least a nicer-looking/fitting set of 'bling' covers at least! :-) Thanks for your ideas!
