Diesel Shop to do CTD Conversion?

The guy who normally does heavy work for me is flaking out.

Does anybody know of a reputable shop within 50-100 miles of S. Jersey that can swap a '93 CTD into my dually? I'd like to get somebody who understands these trucks, as opposed to a shop that works on everything.

I'm trying to line this up now in anticipation of delivery of the donor truck in a couple of weeks. Thanks in advance.

Pete,
Have you contacted your nearest Cummins repair station? Maybe they can help you out or at least point you in the right direction.

Don't know about your budget, but does the CTD come with an OD tranny or are you using the one in the 75? If you are using the tranny in the 75, you may want to make allowance for a Gear Vendor overdrive.

Redleg,

I'm buying a new NV4500 to hook to the motor. The donor truck is auto equipped, but I like rowing the gears.

You'll be happier without the 3 spd.

I called the closest Cummins repair station: Holman. I talked to the service manager. He was no help and couldn't provide any leads.
