Even after paying 3.989/gal here is southeast MA, $20 gave me over a half tank....



In the Jetta. I hate being trapped in a sardine can, but it's paid for and paying me back now. We were gonna go camping up north this weekend, good thing the place canceled because of the mud. Might have to use heating oil soon.

 

Running between $4.05 and $4.29 here. At least most of you guys are under $4 still.

 

SoCal yesterday I filled up at $4.15. $102 dollars and that was just the "low fuel light" fillup.

Diesel $4.10 up .40
that averages to .08 a week.
most of it though has been in the last couple of weeks.

 

$4.29 the next day at the same Chevron. .04 bump overnight.

 

I paid 3.69 here in Virginia, pumps right down the road from that one was at 3.85.... don't think anyone is buyin diesel there

I think it would take a very incredible person to single handily effect the worldwide price of oil.
There is little the government can do to influence the price of oil without flat out taking over the oil companies.
