I'm getting due for a new truck, and would really consider the 1500 with Diesel. My 04 is getting up there and I really don't need the 3/4 Ton.

But one thing that they better get a handle on is mileage. A 1500 with diesel better get a minimum of 25 mpg on the hwy. I get about 21 mpg on my current 2500 Ram. Forget the power wars with Ford and GM, if people need more power, get a 2500. Any decent 1500 will pull plenty, so it better get good mileage.

 

I agree, they better get great mileage. 27+ on highway, I have gotten 24 with mine before the larger wheels and tires. There is no reason why a lighter, lower, more aerodynamic truck shouldn't get great mileage.
