Diesel Power Magazine

Diesel Power Magazine
Well I just got back from WalMart and checking out the new Diesel Power Magazine. Think it's a keeper this month. There is about 1/3 of it devoted to the Cummins. A couple articles that look good, some history and some good pictures.
I didn't have time to read it at the store so I'll look at it tonight.
It looks like they are finally listening to the readers. Hopefully the stories are good.
It looks like they are trying to cover the diesel market both here and other parts of the planet. About time.
We'll see later tonight.

I'm appreciating the mag more and more every month. Ya gotta admit, there's only so much history to Cummins then what will you get if you report all the Cummins info first? Everything else, then you lose yer Cummins people. I'll read the diesel airplane motor story tomorrow...gotta nice cutaway too, I wondered how they connect all those connecting rods of a multi-cylinder radial engine on one rod journal.

Once again, e-mail them http://www.dieselpowermag.com/ with concerns/compliments. I did when it first came out, about their lack of Cummins info, and again when they stepped up, including my decision to subscribe, due to Cummins being included. Remember it's not a Cummins magazine, it's meant for all diesel enthuiasts, so we have to accept the other brands being included, but we can expect equal coverage.
As far as Banks bashing, GET OVER IT. He's done a lot for diesel performance, including making it mainstream. There might not be a magazine at all, if not for him, and you might still be driving a gasser, instead of a "smelly, noisy, slow" diesel. He has a right to charge whatever he wants, and you have a right to not pay that much. He makes interesting parts, and is often in the forefront of the industry. I want to see his Duramax road racer run, even though I wish he'd used a Dodge.
I don't have any Banks parts, and don't expect to, I just don't understand the hatred of him.
