Diesel hit $3 per gallon in California
I just put diesel in my tank for 2.99 99/100 . I drove over to six diesel stations and are were priced exactly the same! I smell trouble brewing in the economy real quick like!
Lets see.... trucking industry,,,,locomotive, shipping..... inflation at the retail level, travel industry. New diesel truck industry. If diesel is going through the roof, who would buy a diesel truck?
This is starting to get bad

There the one's that force the oil companires to have to make a fuel formulation specifically for California.
The sad part is what starts in the land of Granola ("Fruits, Nuts and Flakes") usually crosses the country and finishes up on the East Coast.
edited to correct my speeling

it scares the begeebies of me. i cant believe its gotten out of control like this. But if you even take a peek at flyingj.com and watch national fuel prices. most of the country is around 2.30-2.40 and then you see all of cali and its all 2.90. Oh well. Maybe time to by a hemi

Stay tuned folks cause it's only going to go up. Demand is outstripping supply world wide. There have been no new major discoveries in oil fields and most of the big players in the Saudi oil fields have been in production for over 50 years. Demand from industrializing countries like China and India are driving prices up and it's only just bedginning.

The fellow who delivered my farm diesel last Thursday said that his price list for the coming week had a 10¢/gallon jump in all grades.
At least I saved $100 filling the 1000 gallon tank a couple days early, doesn't seem like much though when the bill was $2400
He is was also worried about his job, seems a lot of farmers are starting to haul their own fuel rather than pay the 5¢/ga they charge for delivery.
I see some fiery accidents coming.
I agree, get used to it, don't see anything coming in the near future that will cause fuel prices to decline.

Yup,
Paid 2.99 yesterday.. at this price, I can't afford to fill it up, so it gets put in at 50 bucks at a time.. thats only about 16 gallons, whereas, it used to just about fill up my 35 gallon tank less than 3 months ago.

read in the paper the reason for high prices in CA is because of rifinery fire down south CA , so alot of the fuel is being shipped south which cause a high demand up north and we all pay for it. its time we chop CA at Bakerfield and create the North and South

I am starting to wonder if its all a grand scheme to get people off the road to stop driving their cars to decrease pollution. I suspect it is a combination of things perhaps this is one of them ?
