diesel engines

Went to the car show today in Atlanta, man 5 hours and 252 pictures later I'm finally home:
Here are few of new diesel engines from the big three:

Dodge and Chevy do not look that bad with all those emission stuff, but Ford is a nightmare. When I was taking pics, Ford product specialist came over, and said laughing: Can you see our new diesel in there?

Oh, and here is what Honda thinks of themselves...

Man, why can't I ever go to this stuff? By the time I am allowed to, diesels will be outlawed...

Good pics...

Wow, that's the first time I've seen the inside of the new furd. But it looks just as crowded as everyone has been saying.

Yep, I'm sure there's an engine in there somewhere. So much for back yard wrenchin'.

Notice that DC is embarrassed about the EGR so they made a cover plate for it.

Is it true I heard somewhere that to work on the new PowerStroke, the Cab has to be removed or something like that?

Some yokel felt the need to steal the washer bottle lid on the 1st pic of the RAM . Man that b/s gets under my skin. Can't afford a new truck so I'll steal a part off of someone elses!

And yeah, to do anything major on the Ferds, gas or diesel, my buddy says they take the cab off - like getting a built in engine stand!

the ford honestly looks like someone just grabbed a bunch of parts and threw them in the engine bay until it was full.

I would hate to have to work under the hood of a new Powerstroke or even Duramax!

I think you can thank the EPA for most of that garbage in there.

Pull the cab on the new powerstrokes? Heck, you have to do that on the 6Oh-No as well. I heard of a boy that was gonna try and pull the heads off with the cab on. Another guy said it could be done, but your knees and back would be worthless by the time the job was done.

I notice the ford and the dodge had plastic end-tanks on the intercoolers...what gives? I thought they gave up on that idea. Couldn't see the chevy from the pic.

How could you tell that the Dodge had plastic tanks on the charge-air cooler?
