Really? I guess I should visit the NWBOmbers more often.. Haven't seen Gary since 2002(?) in Calgary with lots of the old crew. Dee, Vaughn and Jason from NWC.. Wow, what a flashback..LOL.. Too bad I lost that promo video that Marshall made from the Diesel Dyno Stampede Scotty organized..

Joe told me the story about how he got plates from Mark before they were hardened so he could file them. He used to go down the highway and pull over at exits and pull the plate out and file on them. I know the #10 for sure was his doing and probably some of the others. What an innovator and pioneer! Craig

Lots of changes over the years...I guess that is what we call life.
I am in touch with Gary from time to time and there are a few others out there I recall that were testing/breaking/succeeding with new ideas and products. Time to go log a few more miles on the truck.

Well, if you would have come down with me to Diesel Thunder this weekend, Gary, Jason, Vaughn, and many others would have welcomed ya.
Oh, and I could take you on another 'Test Drive'
Too bad it's just a '''boring''' CR with a stock intake, stock filter, stock Lift pump, stock exhaust, SMARTY Equipped, SP62/14 truck running a 'measly' 500 HP limited by the stock clutch. But it is fun!

Man, what a stroll down memory lane. Has it really been that long?
I remember those days, when everyone was saying that my EZ and DD2 combo was just borderline for a daily driver, haha.
Almost makes me want to slap on some Juice Grips and take a stroll in honor of those guys I've never met but shared lots of online talks with: Gary, Joe, Rob, Bob, Bill, Dave, etc. Funny how so many of them are out West. There's something in the water out there for sure.
I haven't been a TDR member for almost 3 years. But I'll always look fondly back at:
"Anatomy of a Frantz Bypass Filter"
"OMG Twins Rock"
"Pumps, Lines, What Not"
There certainly were some legendary (and educational) threads over the years.
Thanks for posting this.

Anyways, a friend of mine named Tom Golden(some of you on here might know him) is the one who got me into the whole NorCal and west coast diesel scene. Back in '04, he bought me a 1 year membership to the TDR as a gift for my birthday. He still runs his DD3 injectors on his '01.5 24V. I still has the same setup it had when he dynoed 439rwhp a number of years ago. Its still his daily driver too.
