Diesel 2.07 a gallon.

I went home to see my pop yesterday in Cordele, GA, and the diesel there at a Pilot Truck Stop was 2.07 a gallon. I got back home last night in Waycross, GA and the diesel here is 2.30 a gallon. Thinking about buying a 100 gallon tank for the bed and driving back up this weekend and filling up.

My brother had a 100 gallon tank mounted on a trailer and we would go 30 miles to a cheap station in Copan, OK and fill it up. Gas in OK is usually 10 cents cheaper because of taxes. He sold the trailer though and just drives the truck over to fill it. I drive my CTD down there also. I wish he still had the tank though.

The difference between $2.07 and $2.30 on 100 gallons is only $23.
Is it worth your time to make a special trip?

it would not be a special trip since I go home twice a month to see my old man. He is 80 and lives by himself, and I am the only one that checks on him regularly. it is a two hour drive, but well worth it. He still farms also, so I have to do some of the heavy labor for him.

Oh yes! It's worth it! It costs about $2.50 in fuel to drive over there and back.

I think your off on your numbers a lil there edwin..

120 miles one way. at 18 miles a gallon, gonna take approx 6.67 gallons to get there and the same to get back, so the total gallons is 13.34 X 2.07 = 27.60 .

But since I will be there anyway, it is worth it...

From Coffeyville, KS to Copan, OK is 16 miles one way. I expect it's a bit further from Waycross.

For some reason Waycross is a joke on their fuel prices, It's GA! I go to St Mary's to buy fuel at Walmart. It's usually 4 cents a gallon cheaper than the I-95 prices. And Waycross is 10 cents higher Folkston. When will the madness stop on these fuel prices? I think I'm going quit my job and collect govt. money

Diesel fuel in Las Cruces is 2.19 and in the big town of Truth or Consequenses it is 2.49. Big difference in only 70 miles. I have a 50 gal aux tank in the back of my truck and take advantage of lower prices when possible.

They just raised the prices in Riggins, Idaho to 2.709 and plaining on rasing again!

From the 3/8 mark it took a whole $50 spot to put the needle near the full mark.

I hate to say it but us out here in Idaho will beat you to the $3.00 mark... Would you do use a favor and hook up a larger tank and bring use some of that $2.099 stuff we would love you for it.

Remember its a Cummins it can handle it!

Just drove by the Flying J here in Waco, TX on my lunch break and diesel is 2.04. I'm glad to see it finally coming down a little.
