I had an eaton shift ****, but I thought it only fitting for a six speed to have a six shooter.

Like this 13sp. range selector?
It also deflates my air bags.
You can find a selector at any heavy truck parts store.

I bought it at autozone, you can also find them on ebay. I done a little work on it to make it secure on the shifter, the way it was supposed to install was pretty lame.

Pop off the shifter pattern button in the middle and remove the lock nut.

Sounds easy the previous owner must have glued mine in because I had to break it to get it out.

I bought a Hurst classic musclecar **** from Summit with the correct shift pattern. It has a brass insert that did not fit the 10 mm thread on the shift arm but I was able to extract the brass insert and turn a replacement with the right thread. One problem with the shift arm is it tapers down to the 10 mm thread and looks a little funky. To fix this I turned a stainless steel sleeve to cover the taper.
