Think of it the other way.
If Ford really owned Cummins, why would they put a Powerstroke 8 cylinder diesel in their trucks?

So has dodge/cummins had to buy back any of their diesel trucks lately??

The best thing I read was that atleast ferd puts an ovel around their problems.

The second is that they are comming out with a tailgate warmer, so your hands stay warm while pushing it..

I'd have a Fraud with a V10 in it in a heartbeat. But I wouldn't touch a P of SD with a stick. Ford never did own Cummins. They held around ten percent in the early 90s. Cummins bought it back. Cummins and Ford are still good business customers but no relation other than that. You can get the Cummins in a real Ford truck with an Allison even but in the pickup you have to settle for the P of SD and the Allison wannabe.

I guess for the same reason that DaimlerChrysler doesn't put a Mercedes or Detroit (which they own) diesel in the Dodge trucks.

Hey, I talked to Hoss, and he assured me that Ford really DOES own Cummins!
