Guys I had to come back to Cummins Church (DTR) and confess my sins. I nearly gave in to the temptation of a GM diesel truck. I cheated on my Cummins/6spd Manual Dodge combo for a Duramax Allison . Fortunately my Dodge took me back and we made up. I thought that with all the extra features of the Chevy, maybe having a six speed auto, and all the fancy gadgets that I could overlook the cheapness of build, the IFS, or how freaking hard it would be for someone like me find the space and tools needed to work on something that complicated. All the crazy computers.....It won't happen again guys. I don't know what came over me. From now on it will be Cummins and Manual trannys for me. Just thought I would share my experience. I was a heavy diesel mechanic for many years and the thought of how cramped the Chevys and Fords are makes me wonder how much dedication you really have to have to a brand to want to suffer through working on one of those. Hope all you hard core Dodge guys got a laugh.

 

Ahhhhhhh..... That will be 12 Hail Cummins and a new set of tires me son.
