Clutch Material 101 ?? kevlar, feramic, ceramic, woven-organic
Can some one please run down the basics of the different materials used for manual clutches ??
Here they are.....kevlar, feramic, ceramic, woven-organic and plain organic.
What are the holding ratings (in Torque lbs) for BOTH 12.25" and 13" clutches ?
I KNOW this is extremely subjective, but What are the "expected" mileage ratings based on each material ?? Just say that this is a normal (SANELY) driven truck that does very little towing.

I can't really say but i do know when i got my valair, the owner explained them all to me on the phone and he recommended a clutch based on my driving habits and hp and im happy. I got the 13" ceramic and i have no complaints for being a great priced single. Southbend sells a great product clearly that is a fact but i went with the underdog and am happy.
call southbend or valair tell them your power level, how you drive, towing, racing , pulling and let them tell you what will work for you.
