General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

Check out GMC.com. The specs for the new07 duramax are 365hp and 660lb ft of torque.

[QUOTE=bnold;1152009]Man following that belt makes me dizzy!!!

I was thinking the same thing.......or is it the glass(s) of red wine I am using to wash down this batch of smoked Sockeye Salmon?
I notice they don't give the MSRP for the 2500 or 3500.....hmmm......I wonder if they are MORE or LESS than the 1500?? YUK YuK.
Just one more of my wierd thoughts...........In this replay of the muscle-car era, but now with Big Honkin Diesels...........who will be the first to offer paddle shifters on the steering wheel???
Think I better go find some sundried Tomato & Basil flavored Wheat Thins to soak up some of this wine I have sloshing around in me!

good thing with this compicated motor to some is it has a 100k warrenty on the whole drive train, so unless your keeping it longer than 5 years you will never see the engine compartment with your hands
