looks like GM raises the bar again on the duramax even with the tighter emmision controls for 07

Ya I saw that too. I wonder why they dropped the 8.1? That was one of GMS Aces for having big Gas power. I know a guy that just picked up an 8.1, so it must be pretty recent.



(yawn) Did someone say something about ratings again??? A HUGE bump of 15 hp and 10 ft-lbs.. Must have changed the air filter design..

I'd say they under advertised the power so they could show a lil more later. Hopefully the 6.7 was also.

Um, where is the engine in that mess. I see a bunch of tubes, pulleys, and little boxes; looks like someone put it on life support.
