just for perspective. here the top end off a Halliburton Frac pump 4000 series Detroit/MTU. I did a headgasket fire ring update on. very similar in size to the 3500 series Cats.

The pic I posted is of a Halliburton HQ-2000. My yard does not have any of the high horse detroits. We just have a few of the old v12s on some of our smaller twin pumps, all the old Crown built pumps with 4000's left long ago for canada. We have been getting a lot of v16 cummins engines on our new trucks. We have some pumps with 2 c32 cats pumping out 1500 hp a piece 2 9800's and 2 triplex pumps. It weighs in at 110,000 lbs.

I wish we still had a few 4000's. I have never seen one pump, but I hear they do a little talking.

I'll post some pics of some of our units. I have a few good ones...

I used to build hydraulics at Crown in Calgary years ago. on all the service equipment, fracs, coil tubers, N2s, chem vans, blenders........lots of custom stuff too.

actually we built a custom Blender for Sanjel that moved more water per miute on our test stand than the Elbow river that flows through Calgary moves in summer. it was awesome.

That 4000 looks brand new, I assume that is a crown? What yard is still buying those? All we run are Halliburton built pumps here.

That Halli 4000 is a high hour unit. it is in for refurbishing. we've got 20 Halliburton 4000 to update the engines on and overhaul the 9800s. and another outfit is doing the trailers and pumps.
