Cat 3126 HP mods?????

Come'on, u gotta know what a whitlock is, its that air over electronic speed control in the CBB's for pump applications. They have a WC sticker on them. I do alot of startups also, 4AW's CBB's C-15's on the diesel side, and EIS and A+3 3500's on the Gassers. U ever work on the workover rig startups with the new Cat well-service transmissions?

I generally refer to the air over electrics as ATC's--just kinda what we all refer to them up here. I do enjoy calibrating them though--not many people know how.
I just spent an enormous amount of time on a 3508 (Cbb),,wouldnt run--in short the batteries in the SCR house were wellll dead, but not dead enough not to give me 160mV's for the throttle control.
--have you guys been doing all the PIP's on them and the 4AW's?
Yes I have been doing start ups and repairs on the well-service trannies. To bad you cant find ANY info--atleast I couldnt on them in SIS.
Here as of late though I have been paralleling 4-3516 1HZ gen sets for the schlumberjacks.....only for them to scrap the job as soon as its done....they do alot of "trail runs" up this way.

Yeah, I've finally got all the SCR house readings figured out. Got tired of fighting electricians hollering its in the Cat!, Its in the CAT!. I recently set up my own Woodward 2301 and can run them without the SCR house. Do LOTS of updates on ASO'S. Glad thats all finally fixed. Were having a 3 day class with Cat on the well-service transmission at the end of this month. I agree, they put this thing out, and all the info I find is in the tractor side where this trans. originated. Have you got to see one of the new C-175's yet? That thing is a stud mule.

I just setup a TPS and change the config screen to run on throttle input instead of Direct Fuel control----IF I want to prove no signal from scr house. BUT you gotta have factory pass-code capabilities to due so. I carry a couple spare PWM convertor boxs in the truck now days(dont ask how I got them though).
Have yet to see a C175--otta be interesting though, cant wait.....there will be plenty of PIP's im sure, more work Still alot of customers up this way buying whats left of the 3500's

I happened to be in Peoria when they were fine tuning the fuel system on one of the C-175's. It was on a generator and they pulled 4MW with it. From what I heard, Thats where they went to production with it. I used to disable DFC, but its a pain getting a TC for PW's sometimes... late at night, weekends, bad cell service... Think I've got every sensor, convertor and harness, injector...etc. for a 3500.. kinda like u, not sure how I aquired them. But I dont carry ANYTHING for 6.25 bores! But usually, if its a Ross-Hill house, I can find whats not working and just go ahead and fix it. Theres only 3 checks to make on the A/C module and you will know right then if the Cat side is good or not. I've even changed an A/C module once.. I don't normally go that far, but I was ready to get home and didnt want to wait on an electrician.
