Carbon reducer

Has anyone out there in DieselVille ever heard of adding Mineral Oil to the fuel and the engine oil to reduce carbon build-up and lube the upper end as well as the injectors? I`ve heard that adding Marvel Mystery oil will do the same thing. Any thoughts?

IMHO,the best lube additive is 2 stroke oil from Walmart.
I usually add 32 oz of it with every fillup.
