Can Any Mods be Done to an '09 ISC 8.3L 330HP???
I was wondering if anyone knew of any programmers, chips, intakes, etc. that can be done on this engine??
I heard that there might be a way of having Cummins "re-flash" the ISC 330 into the 400HP/1200TQ Fire Engine setup. Is this true? If so, how does one go about doing it?
Any help would be much obliged!

The top fire/emergency rating is 360/1050. If you have the 330/1000 rating, a Cummins distributor can uprate it to the 360/1050 - for a fee. Contact these folks, thy should have a location close to you.

If this thing has any kind of warranty on it I wouldn't get to carried away. You would really regret the extra 100HP if you gernaded the motor and they denied the warranty claim because of the mods. Just my .02

We have a '08 isc 285 and I asked the same questions about boosting the hp. The dealer wouldn't come right out and say but left me thinking as they said to come back after the warranty. Ours is a pos anyway, it hasn't worked well in the last 9 months and they can't figure our whats wrong with it. I have to take it in next week and leave it till they fix it. I may never see the old girl again. LOL.. It has only pulled good on about a half dozen days since we had it, and when it does its great. when its not working good ( most of the time ) its terrible. They are saying it could be the turbo, injector, egr,???????. I always like Cummins but it not looking good for the future.

I don't think wiggs will be worried about any type of warranty Sounds like this is a peak into the Optimus Mediamus truck.
