C&C vs reg 3500
Alright i am probably going to kick myself when i start getting replies to this one but oh well here it goes. Besides the obvious advantage of cab and chassie that it has a flat fram what are the advatages or what advantages are given up by having the flat fram.
Do they ride lower (probably)?
Are they not as smooth as a normal 3500? (I would assume so)
Whats the differences in length and that kinda stuff? (I would assume that they are)
Kinda dumb sorry but i was walking to day and the question poped up in my head and i couldnt answer it.
Thanks Rob

It would be fun to get a C&C and add a bed but I don't know if the distance from the cab to the center of the rear axle is the same as the P/U. The C&Cs come with the Aisin tranny and that might be the best thing of all. Also, the fuel tank is in the rear where the spare rides in the pickups. There might be some ground clearance differences too, with the flat frame. I'm hoping to get a chance to look at them side by side and see the differences and make some measurements.

THanks, i curious to see and maybe find out why regular pick ups dont have flat frams in the rear to since it would make it so much easier to put a flat bed on. Which is something that i am dealling with right now.

I was looking at CC 3500's at the beginning of the year.
Ram 3500 4x4 has coil front springs
C C 3500 has front leaf springs: with a heavy duty plow option (not sure what, if any real difference)
C C 3500 2wd uses the solid front axle thats used in the 4x4 but no guts or transfer case.
