Re:Brake Stand.... Can you?

I can tell you one thing,........when "Rammin On" and
myself are on an Interstate and we decide to race
or "get on it" nobody behind us is going to see much!! ;D
Keith we sure proved that on I-64 and in Williamsburg!
WOW!!!!

------------
Cumminsdude:

As "Big Blue" already said, smoke like that is due to high
fueling from the P7100 Fuel Pump and not enough air/boost.
Does it hurt the engine??? Well, there is much debate
about that. Some say all that fuel "washes" the cylinders
over a period of time, but I have almost 195,000 miles on
my truck with no engine problems yet. However, both
"Rammin On" and myself change our oil and filters religiously
every 3,000 miles!

---------
John_P

Shovelhead:

Thanks for pointing that out! You're right though,......
the black marks right next to "banshee's" truck (to his
right) are from my burnout just a minute or two before
that.

Thanks!

-------
John_P

Re:Brake Stand.... Can you?

I've always wondered, if fuel+no boost=smoke, has anyone tried installing something like a choke cable to the wastgate lever to "Dump" boost as needed for Smoke outs?

Those three trucks are always impressive crowd pleasers wherever they go. The people at Williamsburg Dodge were really impressed for sure.

Re:Brake Stand.... Can you?

Wrong. Brake, gas, let off brake, instant tire smoke.

So am I. That's all I did the other day to roast em off the line. Let out a nice cloud of one wheel drive tire smoke.
