Re:Brake Stand.... Can you?
It's not as easy as setting the line-lock on the Cuda, but about 12-15 pounds of boost and some maladjusted brake and we're a smokin'!!

Just no better noise in the world than a Big Block Chrysler at 7000 RPM in the middle of a tire smoke cloud!!!!!!! Even if the tires do cost $250 each!

I had a 95 CTD with drums on the back. Even with the stock tranny I could light both tires up. I had to get the tranny rebuild, and put gauges in it, and when my boost would get to 10psi the tires started breaking loose. I had a little mods done to it but my friends still thought it was stock. Fun to show off for the Chebby and Ford boys around town.

Yeah Bleach is amazing stuff. They used to put that on drag strips but, to all you guys that dont want to clean up too big of a mess, try burning out on concrete. It is a lot harder and you wont dig into the road causing stones and tar to fly up on your truck. You may get a few stones but nothing to worry about. When and if I can afford my diesel I will do a burnout and take pics!!!

Re:Brake Stand.... Can you?
you mean like this?
or this...
OF, I did a burnout at Rammin On's house a few months ago, but I had a chance to see the marks this past weekend. I ran over them at 20mph (~30 feet per second) and it took me 14 seconds to get from one end of the marks to the other. ;D The bad thing is that I did it twice, so that 800+ feet of marks took 20k miles off my poor michelins . I remember the tread looked melted and little rocks were stuck all over the tires when I came back. It's too bad they cost so much, but, oh well... I'm about to put on the 4th set in 25k miles :P
