Blowby

how much oil vapor from the crankcase breather tube indicates excessive blowby, almost all diesels blow out a little vapor but how do I tell if its to much

you need a .221 blow-by check fitting , and check your blow-by with a manometer, you could make it yourself with clear tubing and some pvc fittings and make a disc with a .221 hole.
