Bed Liners You Put On Yourself
#16
That's hysterical. What an idiot. that's what gloves are for and if you know how to use your tools correctly it shouldn't get on your hand. Funny story though. As far as how to get it off my suggestion to anybody that experiences this problem would be to apply baby oil liberally BEFORE the hurculiner sets up this should keep it ( the hurculiner) soft and keep it from curing. The solvents are not kind to tender parts. ( still shaking my head in disbelief) It's really funny if it didn't happen to you I guess.

On my Jeep floorboard I used herculiner and a $7 undercoating gun from harbor freight. I sprayed it on and it turned out awesome. I know for a fact line-x is better, but this cost me around 90 bucks and I'm very happy with the result.

My son and I did my truck bed and his. It comes right off if you hit it with a pressure washer. And doesn't last long if you use the bed for hauling. It was about $8 a can at Advance the stuff we used.

I did it to my truck box, and even with the decent job of prep i did (completely sanded down and primed) it hasn't held up at all. I do put the truck to work, but IMO its not saving you any money to do it yourself.
