my 2004 srw 1ton 4x4 has a bad vib when i am slowing down under 30 mph think it is my transfer case any one had this problem

 

Have you checked all the u-joints? They have a funny way of vibrating at particular speeds.

 

yes they all look and fell good have some play in the tail shaft of the transfer case seems to be more then it should going to pull rear shaft this weekend and look at it more

 

There should be some play in the yoke but I'm not sure how much. Have you checked the carrier bearing for seizure?

 

yes it looks good to but have not lifted the truck off the ground yet

 

You really need to remove the drive shaft to check the u-joints. I had a vibration while slowing down around 20mph and I crawled under the truck and jerked and pulled on the drive shaft and couldn't feel any play. Finally I removed it and moved all the joints through their full range of motion and found that one was binding up. Replaced that joint and vibration is gone.
