B100 in the Winston-Salem area.

I talked with Hills oil company in Lexington, he will have B100 in about a month.

I've been looking for a place to purchase B100 to use as an additive for a while now. I'm not sure if this is the only place that will sell it, but it's the first one I've found.

If anyone knows of another place selling it now, post away.

so this is going to be an open to the public pump? Do you know where in Lexington?
This is great news, last time I wanted B100 I had to drive to Aiken, SC. I just hope it's competitively priced.

Rob_OBX, Hill Heating Oil is located on Old US Hwy 52. Their number is 336-764-0538. I asked him if I would be able to bring a container to fill and he said that it wouldn't be a problem. Price is going to be higher than regular diesel. around $2-3 gallon, but he was just giving a ballpark.

Maybe nothing? I'm hoping it will enhance lubricity of diesel fuel, which in turn will lube the vp44 better.

I use it for the added lubricity of the fuel system and to help reduce our dependency on foreign oil, support american farmers, and reduced emissions. can you think of a reason not to use it???
I paid around $2.50 a gallon for B100 in SC last month. B20 in Garner ran $1.699 a gallon 8 days ago when I went through and filled up.

Thanks for the info MikeD!

Just talked to the "bossman" as the lady that answered the phone called him. he said late April, and price was gonna depend on what soy is costing at the time. Also some good news he's a fellow Cummins lover

Look at the link posted by infidel... B100 is a 100% biodiesel, B20 is, you guessed it 20% biodiesel mixed with regular diesel.

On our trucks you can run B20 with very little noticeable difference. If you go above B20 you will have a loss of power and mpgs.
B1 will increase the lubricity of #2 diesel by 60%

I live in Charlotte, but pass through on our way to the OBX.
Han-Dee Hugo's BP Station
401 Benson Road
Garner, NC 27529

I have been running B20 for about 4000 miles and mpg have not changed and the truck is idling a little quieter.

I just started running B20. There is a pump close to my work. First thing I noticed was how much quieter my truck was. Also noticed that my eyes don't burn from the fuel on a cold start. Interesting smell to the exhaust. Power is the same, mpg seems to be up a bit.

So far I like it, but its only the 4th fill up.
