Atleast its not a 'Stroke
My dad is selling his 05 Duramax LLY, and getting an 08 gasser Chevy. Well, Im buying it. Dont worry, Im keeping the Dodge. Its a deal I cant pass up. Anyways, anyone know of a good Dmax forum? Im on dieselgarage, but theres just not many people there and takes a while to get answers. I dont want to do much, no more than a tuner, intake, and exhaust (no straight pipe, not on a V8). So just some simple advice is all I need.

Thanks, I will. Ive put about 5k of its 50k on it myself, so I know I like it. Im thinkin mp-8 chip, AFE dry filter stage 1, and cat back exhaust...I dont want it to be loud---thats what the dodge is for .
Edit...Now im thinking S&B intake, edge juice with attitude (found one for $450) and the catback.

My work supplied truck is an 03 dirtymax , been driving it more than my dodge, Kinda like it , except i can't afford one. It IS still slower than my bombed 12v though, even with a better trans behind the v8.

Thats what I hear...but I dont want to get carried away bombing this one. Thats what the dodge is for . Ive heard EFI live can be complicated to setup, and I want to keep it safe for this truck for sure. How easy is it to tune?
