I'm looking for a gps too, but I'm having problems finding one that seems easy to use with multiple stops along the way. I need it to be a stand alone unit, any of you have one like this? or know of a company that makes one? The garmin quest is nice and does that, but I'm afraid it will be too complicated for the person I'm buying it for, she went 10k miles w/o an oil change and had a recall on her car and never took it in, so it has to be easy and durable with multiple stop route planning.

My Garmin 2620 allows the use of intermediate waypoints (via points) as a simple menu selection once the basic route (i.e., starting and ending points) has been established.

I now have a Garmin Streetpilot 2620 and could not be more pleased. I have been using various Garmin GPS's since 1997 and could not live without it.
