I'm 50 miles north of OK. Over the years spent a fair amount of time there.
I've heard 2 stories about the south wind, I'm not sure which one to believe: I've heard about how Texas blows, but I've also heard Nebreska sucks. Maybe it's a combination? j/k (it's an old joke, I know) lol
I thing I know for sure, the only thing that ever slowed down the wind was a barbed wire fence, and now it blew down.

Went to school in Stillwater, work in Tulsa, and live in Cushing.

 

I was born in Oklahoma City then moved to Welston when I was like 2 and later came to Texas when my Dad got transfered when I was 5. Although I didn't live there that long all my family lives there and I make several trips throughout the year to see them. I plan on moving back to Welston after college to enjoy the peace and quiet
