Am I going crazy???

Hello to all, My name is Andrew, I am 21 years old and I am new here. Basically, my story is pretty simple, I currently drive a '05 Dodge SRT-4 and have loved it ever since the day I drove it off the lot. It has always been spotless inside and out and I have dedicated so much time to keeping it clean because I love it so much. I even bought an old Toyota truck as a beater so I didn't have to put miles on my beloved SRT-4. This was true until one fateful day at work...I work at a Toyota dealership in Northern VA as a Service Technician (mechanic). A couple weeks ago I was headed to lunch when I saw a sight that changed my life forever. One of the guys who work in the parts department had his '03 RAM 3500 DRW parked out in front of the loading door. The truck caught my eye because I had always liked the way that Dodge had designed their trucks. Every single day I'd see it there the more and more I liked it. So one day I caught a ride with him when he went to pick up lunch. The ride was every thing I had expected and more, he told me alot about the truck itself, but the one thing that had stuck in my head was, "once you drive a diesel truck, you will NEVER buy a gas truck again"... So we made a deal, I'd do his oil change for him and he'd let me take his truck on a test drive. On the test drive, there was someing that happend to me that day, something I can't explain. I left a SRT-4 driver and came back a Diesel fanatic. Since that fateful day I have dedicated my life to getting a Dodge truck equiped with this almighty CTD. As soon as I get my old Toyota sold, I am headed to a dealer with my SRT-4 for a trade in. I have been working 12 hour shifts during the week, fixing all the ods and ends that needs to be done on the Toyota and saving up money during the week. My girl friend says this has taken over my life. Every single truck I see on the road, I look to see if it has a diesel engine. I roll down my window at stop lights to listen to diesels idle and then take off... and I actually like the smell of the exhaust.

Am I going crazy, maybe loosing my mind , or has anyone else had this experience???

Sorry for writing a book

It's very very common around here. DTR is our therapy. By the way I'm 17 work full time, go to school, and bought my truck on my own. I don't regret it.

Youre not crazy but you are screwed. The diesel fumes have gone straight to the brain.
I'll make you a deal. Everytime I need my oil changed i'll give you a holler and you can take care of it for me. Then you can drive it around the block!!

And you are not crazy... you are normal!

I look at the badging on all of the full-size trucks I see...

I still don't understand the need for a Hemi 3500 Duallie
