Alldata worth it for an '02?

Was just looking at the Alldata site. I see it is "brought to you by Autozone". Has anybody with a 2002 2500/3500 purchased a subscription? I was in Autozone Sunday looking for wiper blades. I forgot what size and they looked it up on their computer and told me "24 inch blades". Turns out if you have an 02 1500, the blades are 24", but the 02 2500/3500 blades are 20". My point is, if they can't even get this correct, is the rest of the info about the 02 just as useless because that was the year the 1500's went to a third gen but the 2500/3500 were still a second gen?

Thanks,
~Rob

I learned many years ago to just say i'ts a late model 2001 when shopping for parts or accessories.

Prevents a lot of heartache.

I end up doing the same thing, or telling them "it's the old body style" (the good looking one ). Even have to tell the guys at Dodge parts counters when I call for a price on something

I bought a subscription when I got my 89. The wiring diagrams were good but the rest of the stuff was weak or just wrong.

Good info, 24" blades going back, I couldn't believe they would fit but that's what the computer gave me at Brakes Plus or similar.

As far as All Data on CD rom it was great for my old Ford Bronco, very accurate and detailed break away pictures for everything I wanted. Haven't looked at the diesel's yet, it's still running.

Funny thing was, I went to O'Reillys because Autozone was out of 24" blades. While I was there, I looked at the ANCO book that was in the blade section. It said for a 2002 Ram 2500/3500 to use 24" blades. But it also said for a 2002 Ram 1500 to use 24" blades. That didn't jive because the 1500 body style was different from the 2500/3500 in 02. So I looked up a 2001 Ram 2500 (same body as 02 2500) and sure enough, 20" is what was called out.

I ran 24" ones last set (because of the same screw up, but I figured I would give them a try, they fit, but never conformed to the window well enough at the top to get a good clean sweep.
