I'd start the bidding at just the cost of the engine...

Wait, he did...

All the big three best all rolled into one package! I like the look of that truck style just so you know why I believe that.

That would be a cool pickup IF it did not have that dumb lift kit and dumb oversize tires on it. But, I suppose that with IFS and no lift, it would be a little more difficult to fit the Cummins in there. Thats what I have gathered from different people who have performed the conversion, anyway.

yea i think 3" minimum is what you need to make it go in smoothly. I don't like those chevy's with that high of lift either, but i'd love a cummins in a mid 90's chevy body

FWIW, he replaced the IFS with the D60 like on a Dodge.

Overall, I like it...I always liked that style of Chevy.

I agree the lift is a little to much, but no lift, and not bigger tires???? Who would look at that truck a second time. I have no problem with a stock truck, but they do not look nearly as good as a lifted truck with decent size wheels. Why is it dumb? because your truck is plain? I am not trying to start an argument, but your post calls everyone with a lift and tires bigger than stock "dumb" show me your truck,, here is mine. I want yours to make mine look dumb.

Looks kinda dumb to me! No, just joking, it looks good! I just think that a stock rig looks better than a lifted rig (with the right tires and setup). Its just MY opinion, you don't need to get all worked up about it! Also, I look at lifts and oversize tires largely from an economic and usefulness stanpoint, so they understandably look pretty bad to me! Am I calling everyone with a lift dumb, no. Do I think that their pickup looks dumb? Yes, maybe just a little bit! Again, just my opinion.

BTW, just check out my rig. Its in my gallery. Notice that it is a 1st gen, so your outfit had it beat in the looks dept. from the get-go!

I am sorry if i got worked up, hehe. I sometimes cannot write something without it looking "aggressive" . My fuel mileage actually went up with the bigger tires, but they are only 33s right now. No harm no fowl, I am not angry at you for being wrong. lol
