5.9 in a van?

I was curious if anyone knew or heard of a 5.9 cummins being put into a Dodge 1 ton van, or if it's possible?

I think any thing is possible, you would have to modify the dog house, half the motor would be inside

Or - you could just pick up a Sprinter...provided you don't need to tow along 9000 lbs in addition. But they are awfully top-heavy...

How's Johnson Bible College?

I dont know, I just thought the idea of a van with a cummins sounded cool. It would be alot of work though and a sprinter would be easier. This isn't anything that I need, I was just curious to what some others thought, thanks though.

I like it!!!

a cummins in a van would be way cooler than a goofy spinter, plus it's a whole lot cheaper, those sprinters cost some serious coin. If you're going to put a 6BT into the van, you might want to by stock in dynamat since it's the only way that rattle will be tolerable in the cab

And the exhaust manifold as a drink/food warmer....

Have you heard of the quigley 4x4 offroad vans? They do this sort of thing, not sure if they have used a cummins though. Check out how tight this one is...

You can order a Ford/Chevy van with diesel engines from the factory Quigley just does the 4x4 conversion on these vehicles they also are doing a conversion on class C motor homes to 4 wheel drive. Dodge dont make the B series Vans anymore
