I've seen a few other pictures of it, and it looked ugly. But I personally think that it won't look nearly as bad in person. Also, that rear axle does look abnormally too far back. But the more I stare at it, the more I like the rear wheel way back there. Wheelbase means a lot when towing. But still, I don't think even the 5.7L will be enough for serious towing needing a serious wheelbase.

I've had 5 Toyota trucks in the past, and liked them all. I didn't like the looks of the Tundra, so when I was in the market for a new truck, I looked elsewhere. Another problem is that they didn't have a diesel option, so I bought my Dodge. (Towing with a gasser got too expensive.)

I heard a rumor that Toyota was going to offer a Caterpillar diesel engine in the Tundra, but even if that were true, I wouldn't buy something that ugly.
