2 cycle oil...

Most 2 cycle oil I've seen is ashless. It was only two little bottles I wouldn't worry especially since you've got a 12 valve (tuff little buggers). Just keep the tank topped off for awhile to dilute it just in case.

A quart of TCW-3 does quiet the engine and seems to have improved mileage for me. I'm still breaking in, so it's hard to tell for sure if the increase is coming from the two stroke oil or engine break in.
I wonder how much if any sulphur is in the two stroke oil. I have people with 08s asking me if they can use it in their trucks.

LoneRanger,
I was asked that question last week by my Dad. I'm not a chemical engineer but I have been researching the subject. My thinking is ashless TCW3 would produce very little sulfated ash. Sulfated ash is a by product of noncombustible components in the oil, like sulphur, detergents, and metallics. These are the items that will clog the DPF.

I've been running an ounce per gallon for about a year now. I keep pretty close tabs on my fuel mileage, hand calculated, and it has improved it some. It seems about 1/2 MPG. Most definitely made the engine quieter although not right away. Mine was noisier than my buddies '99 and now it is considerably quieter.
