Project "TrainWreck"
Well some of you might know me from questions I've asked over the last 4 months, or because I was looking for parts. I found a frame on here from a guy named Karl because the kid I bought the truck from lied about it being straight.
So the process began tearing things apart. The green truck is the one I thought needed a front fender, grill, and rad, but had a bent frame. So all the bent parts pics are from that. The red truck is the one I got from Karl to use the frame as a replacement to swap everything over on.
Yes I had the frame blasted and I painted it with 2 coats of black rustoleum thinned out in my spray gun.
Look at the slide show link and you will see the process. some of the pics are out of order even though they were numbered.
I hope the link works, if you need a password it's trainwreck.
It will be getting a new coat of paint before next year and some tires also when I can afford it. It's going to be a daily driver for me and a construction / work truck, since that's what i do for a living.
Enjoy guys.
