Question 1954 c12 cat crank
Ok guys sorry to do this to you but I am looking for a crank shaft for a 1954 CAT. My father is on one of his restoration projects and has a 1954 c12 with a busted crank. Any help would be appreciated.

Unless Cat used that designation before, the C-12 didn't come out 'til the '90s. I'm running one in a '99 KW.

Was the year a typo?

C-12 Engine

Production Dates: 1995-2003 12.0L 335 to 430 hp

You are right its a 318 motor. 1954 cat model 12 grader with a 318 motor number 28p9306. The crankshaft part number 8b2319. Sorry guys.
