*NEW* AirDog Warranty Policy
#16
Reason I remember is because Montana passed the no warranty card needed law a few years ago.
Reason being that most warranty cards are just an effort to get your personal information and don't always provide any more warranty than if you threw the card away. So some states just passed laws that say you don't need to fill out the card.
Here's a short article, sort of outdated, 2003, that explains it:
Do You Really Need That Warranty Card?

We ask for no personal info at all. Copy of the receipt that shows you are the original owner. Your serial number and what you thought of the product. Ill look into this. And it does give you more of a warranty. Pretty simple. No warranty card 1 year warranty. Warranty card- Lifetime Warranty. Stupid laws these days. Got one for everything. Next you can only use 3 squares per trip to the toilet!

I read that. Very interesting. So after reading that. I guess we can do it like this. 1 year warranty with purchase of the product. Then a lifetime warranty can be purchased for $1. That would clear it up. All we would have to do is charge people for it. Not what we want to do but looks like thats what we may have to do.

Another thing that I would like to see, as a customer, is to register my warranty online. Just makes it easier, as every other day the post office changes the rate for mailing a letter.
Thanks!
