diesel=3.09
Gas=2.31

How can this be justified????thats 78 cents difference. are we expected to provide our own vaseline???

b) Changing fuels from LSD to ULSD.
c) Article in Thursdays, Lusk paper about diesel fuel rationing along the I-80 corridor. They are limiting purchases to 75 gals.

Regular gas for only for only $2.31 ? .... you're lucky - where were those prices, anyway?

Wow! That's a pretty big spread. I paid $2.769 this morning at Wally mart for diesel. RUG is $2.489.

lucky???? im in the des moines, IA area. so you would think it should be cheaper around our area becuase of the io plants going in and such but i can belive te I-80 thing. and still today gas went to 2.31. and diesel is stil lat 3.09, 3.11. that really frys me. now only if i had my gasser back i wouldnt ming the difference but since oh im not even going to start.

A barrel of crude contains on average:

66.6% gasoline
33.3% diesel

In other words it takes more oil to produce diesel.
So the supply of gasoline is greater.

Im not sure about the demand for each.

Do a search on 3-2-1 crack spread if you are interested.
