Okay, I'm new to this, but this forum is a wealth of info, so here goes: I have tried some fuel additive (White bottle from Walmart, can't remember the name) that seems to do okay, but I'm not sure if its the best stuff to run. With the low sulphur fuel nowadays, I think I want to run something that will protect my VP44. Seems I read something the other night about adding a qt of 2 cycle oil per tankfull. Just wondered if this works okay, or if that's a good idea or not. What might this do to the turbo?

 

The best one is the one that's easiest for you to acquire.

 

I've tried Stanadyne, Howes, and Power Service. So far it seems using Power Service gets me better mileage. I'm not using Stanadyne anymore due to no mileage gain and cost. I think Howes or Power Service espescially for availability.
