gasoline works well to clean up messy, oily parts. its a good solvent. i would think it would strip away any lubrication through the fuel system, i.e. injection pump, and id get as much of it out as possible!!!!

The very first thing to do in this kind of situation is to pull your head out of your Admin edit to remove unacceptable language.

find a way to off load the gasoline. one gallon with 32 gallons of diesel isnt to bad but you will want to get it out. worse case is to call a tow truck and have it taken to a repair facility. i dont know how bad it would be to unhook the fuel line before the fuel filter and let the lp drain the tank but be sure to get some good old #2 back in there

My understanding is that anything over 1% gasoline can cause big problems.

I had a friend who was borrowing my diesel VW fill it with gas by mistake and then proceeded to drive it until it wouldn't run. We towed it back to my place, drained the gas out of the tank, the lines, and the pump, changed the filter, added diesel and she started right up and ran fine, as if nothing had happened.

If he could of gotten the gas down to under 5 gallons then he could of added 2-3 qt's of 2 cycle oil and then fill it back up with diesel and hope for the best.
