I recieve a lot of equipment every week via Brown, Fed EX, Yellow, and other freight lines. We are allready getting hit. As a smaller company we are being forced to pass that on to our clients. We just cant absorb the cost. It sucks, and I feel its only the begining of whats to come.

Fuel surcharges have been in place since I left transportation almost 5 years ago. Right now some of the regional motor carriers are nearing the 24% mark. UPS and FedEx have been doing it just as long. During the holiday season we moved thousands of loads for UPS and they actually told us our fuel surcharge was too low. That was in 2000!!!
