I've had friends that'd run off road. About the only thing that comes to mind is the higher sulfur content might clog/damage catalytic converters. I think the only second gens with cats were some of the California trucks, but I'm not sure. I don't think any other damage will result from offroad fuel, at least not to my knowledge.
I have yet to know anyone, personally, who has been dipped, but that might be another concern if you operate your vehicle on public roads.

Same fuel you get from the truck stop. It does not have a higher sulfer content.
The only differance is the red die the put in it so they can identify it easier.
I repeat, it does NOT have a higher sulfer content.

Well, since it is illegal, I don't run my red fuel through my truck, but I did almost run out a few weeks ago and put just enough in there to make it home. I made no change in my performace, as far as the engine is concerned, I don't know if it will do anything permanent or not.

You say new, yes offroad will hurt the engines due out Jan 1 2007.
Anything older no problem except getting caught.
